Miracle Encrypt
Encrypting a Microsoft Dynamics NAV object has historically been a complex task for developers. At Miracle, we have developed MiracleEncrypt to encrypt NAV objects including Tables, Forms, Reports, Dataports and Codeunits.
With MiracleEncrypt all the CAL code in the objects being encrypted will be deleted and therefore not retrievable. If you do not want to lose the original code, backups of the un-encrypted code will need to be completed prior to the encryption to ensure the code is not lost.
Miracle Encrypt consists of one table, two forms and one codeunit. When an object is encrypted, MiracleEncrypt automatically changes the time of the object to 23:59:58, ensuring that an easy test is available to see if an object has been encrypted. There is also an automatic check built in, which allows the system to ignore the object if the time is set to 23:59:58. This check is to prevent an object being encrypted again.
