Introduction

Miracle has been developing Payroll and HR solutions for over 20 years! We have developed our technologies using a variety of different platforms and languages. For the Dynamics market we offer three different product sets:

This brochure describes the Lite product. It is a fully-functional, well-proven payroll that has been available for the last 10 years ago and has more than 400 customers. If you have complex payroll requirements, have more than 500 employees or require a sophisticated, fully integrated HR solution then you might want to consider our miraclePAY for Dynamics NAV application.

Detailed Description

MiraclePAY Lite for Dynamics NAV is a powerful and flexible solution based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV. MiraclePAY Lite offers a reliable platform for recording and calculating your enterprise payroll needs in a timely and accurate manner.

With miraclePAY Lite, users have a fully integrated payroll module which will not only take care of all those PAYE and National Insurance calculations but also automatically post to the General Ledger.

MiraclePAY Lite conforms to the latest government legislation for Tax and National Insurance, and gives users the capability to amend Tax Rates and NI Rates as a result of Government legislation changes.

User definable payment types and deductions make the payroll system flexible to meet most requirements, with the added facility of being able to define which account each pay addition, and deduction will be posted to.

Features include multiple pension schemes per company, allowing employees to belong to more than one scheme. Statutory Payments are calculated automatically. The system has full capability for handling all types of Attachment of Earnings.

User definable payroll groups allow any number of separate payroll cycles. Security options make it easy to restrict access to sensitive payroll information.

MiraclePAY Lite provides in-depth payment analysis and summaries via standard reports, and new reports can be defined using the Report Designer tool within Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

miraclePORTAL

Miracle Dynamics are currently developing an employee and manager portal module.
There were be two different modules, one based on .NET functionality and the other on Share Point referred to generically as employee self service.

Any employee will be able to register to access the employee self service facility. To register they must e-mail the IT Department who will forward the HR generated initial password which the employee should change ASAP.

As part of adding the employee to payroll an entry will be created in the employee self service file with a user name of forename_surname and a password generated by the HR system (eight characters long). Both entries will be encrypted within the file and will be generated and decoded via an OCX to enforce the security.

Passwords MUST be changed every 30 days and be six to ten characters long and contain both numeric and alphabetic characters.

The initial form will provide:

  •   Area to log-in
  •   Company news bulletin

The employee HR home page will list:

  • the basic employee data common to payroll & HR
  • the employee’s work details
  • the employee’s home contact details
  • access to company handbook
  • employee message indicator (including events pertinent to the employee)
  • Timesheet facility
  • Expense recording facility
  • menu buttons to access;

message viewer with update/reply facilities and option to initiate requests. The latter will be ‘focused’ and cover:

  • request correction to disputed data
  • holiday requests
  • training requests
  • emergency contact details
  • next of kin details
  • bank details
  • absence data – including self-certification form
  • holiday data
  • expense form
  • view of past pay advices / re-print options
  • view of past P14’s with print option
  • view of P11D forms with print option (where appropriate)
  • view of training records
  • view of employee checks held within the system
  • view of disciplinary information held on the employee
  • view of appraisal / review data held on the employee
  • view of medical data held on the employee
  • view of accident data held against the employee

It is planned to introduce the above functionality in a series of releases in 2008.
